Sigma Freight Systems Ltd have been providing freight forwarding software solutions for 20 years. Originally owned by a company called MCL, Sigma was then purchased by (and became a subsidary of) VOSS Net plc in early 2000.

In January 2004 Sigma was the subject of a Management Buyout from Voss Net, and is now owned by its Directors/Shareholders – Jon Course and David Hazlehurst.

With the new ownership, we decided to refocus development towards a new product – FM3. With the launch of the new product, we commisioned a new logo, a new website, in fact, new everything, to help underline the new ownership.

An experienced freight forwarder, with particular expertise in the "project managment" side of forwarding, Jon joined Sigma Freight Systems Ltd in 1999 for the launch of FM2000. Jon primarily deals with Marketing, Sales, Training, and Customer Support.

David R Hazlehurst
Director / Software Development
David has been involved with (and interested in) I.T. ever since leaving college, and has over 13 years of experience with various aspects of PC’s, networks, software, etc. He has been with Sigma since August 2001, and has been the key driving force behind FM3. David currently overseas the ongoing development of FM3, technical support, and bespoke software development.
